Baking has always played a significant role in my life. As a child, my grandmother's molasses and sugar cookies were a sweet greeting whenever we visited her—sometimes still soft and warm, fresh from the oven. The scent of her baked goods filled the air like a fragrant candle, creating an atmosphere of love.

I also remember waking up at 5 AM to walk to the local bakery, where the owners, who were family friends, let me lend a hand in the kitchen. The smell of freshly glazed doughnuts and the unmistakable aroma of salt rising bread are still vivid in my mind. Those memories inspired the start of my baking journey! Today, as both a mother and grandmother, I take great joy in passing on my skills and experiences to the next generation.

I am deeply passionate about empowering others who want to learn more about baking, particularly bread. With patience and practice, anyone can master the craft. After over 40 years of baking, I still learn something new each time I step into the kitchen. It's this continuous growth that keeps me inspired, along with the joy of watching others develop their skills and confidence along their own baking journeys.
